Hi, I’m Noel. I’m a board-certified art therapist, and for the past 30 years, I’ve had the privilege of walking alongside children, teens, and adults as they work through some of life’s hardest moments.

I know how difficult it can feel to reach out for help. Many people come to me after trying traditional talk therapy and feeling like words just weren’t enough. Maybe you’ve felt stuck, anxious, or unheard. That’s where art therapy comes in. It gives you a safe, creative way to express what’s inside, even when words fail.

My Experience as an Art Therapist

Since beginning my career in 1993, I’ve worked in hospitals, clinics, schools, and private practice. Over the years, I’ve helped people facing depression, anxiety, trauma, addiction, eating disorders, grief, and more.

I am credentialed with the Art Therapy Credentials Board (ATCB) and a member of both the American Art Therapy Association (AATA) and the Kansas Art Therapy Association (KATA).

I currently see self-pay clients at $100 per session and am also preparing to launch supportive art therapy groups for grief, loneliness, social anxiety, hoarding, and women in addiction recovery.

My Approach to Art Therapy

My sessions combine the healing power of art with proven therapeutic techniques like CBT, DBT, and ACT. What that means for you is not only a safe space to create and express, but also practical skills you can take with you into daily life. Together, we might sketch a feeling, paint your week in colors, or create a collage that helps bring clarity. You don’t need to be “artistic”; this is about expression, not perfection.

Clients often tell me they leave sessions feeling lighter, calmer, and more hopeful. Over time, they discover new strengths and healthier ways of coping. My role is to guide you gently, at your pace, and celebrate every step forward with you.
